The workshop is suitable for begineers and experienced SFX make up artists. Over 16's only unless accompanied by an adult.
This workshop will allow you to sculpt and cast your very own prosthetic pieces for Halloween. You'll also learn application and colouring techniques as well as how to safely remove the pieces.
You'll have the opportunity to sculpt, mould and cast silicone or gelatine prosthetics under the guidance of a professional special effect make up artist and take home the pieces you've created. You'll also receive an application and removal kit for your prosthetic pieces.
Early bird tickets are prices at just £45, increasing to £55 nearer the time.
This workshop is limited to 14 people on a first come, first served basis. We expect it to sell out very quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Materials you may use on the day include:
Casting silicone GP-3481 RTV
Platsil Gel 25 Silicone
Acetone based Cap Plastic
Alcohol activated paints
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
Alergy tests may be required although all products are skin safe.
You'll work with silicone and gelatine.
Please note that all products are vegan friendly except the gelatine.
Light refreshment provided, but bring your own snacks.
Licenced bar upstairs.
Cancellation after booking, up to 48 hours before the event, will incur a £10 product fee.
Cancellatons 48 hours prior to the event will incur a £30 product fee.
You will get to take home your mould and either a silicone or gelatine cast, ready to apply. The mould can be reused to create more pieces at home.
