You will need to pre-book your place for the workshop which take place in

Nottingham city centre.

Our workshops are very hands on, so please ensure you wear clothes that you don't mind

getting messy. 


There is a licenced bar and food is available at the venue.

The workshop will run from 12.30pm to 4.30pm

Please note that the workshop may overun slightly so bear this in mind if parking or booking train tickets.

You can cancel your place on the workshop up to 5 days before the event for a full refund. Cancellations 5 days before the event will incur a 20% product charge. Email:

Covid Restrictions: There are no covid restrictions at the venue. Please be aware that you will be working closely to other attendees. Please do not attend if you are showing signs of Covid. If you cannot attend, we can move your place on the workshop to a later date.

This workshop is aimed at anyone wishing to learn how to create prosthetics from flat moulds in gelatine and silicone.

You will also learn how to apply, blend and colour the pieces.

* Creating a gelatine and silicone prosthetic from your chosen mould

* Understanding how to pigment and flock silicone 

* How to encapsulate silicone prosthetics 

* Demoulding flat mould pieces

* Applying and blending flat mould prosthetics

* Colouring the pieces


The workshop costs £45 per person and includes all materials used on the day. You just need to bring yourself and clothes that you don't mind getting messy. This is a great introduction into the art of creating and applying prosthetics and is suitable for sfx make up artists of all levels.

Steve has run Fake Up for 8 years and has worked on various film, music video and TV projects. He also lectures at colleges and universities, sharing his knowledge of the SFX make up industry.
