We are very proud to have taught and worked with numerous schools, colleges, universities and youth groups, offering supplies, training and workshop sessions all year round.

We can supply bespoke student packs for FE and HE courses as well as offering teaching resources and student starter kits. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Our workshops for schools and youth groups are very popular and give students an insight into the exciting and wonderful world of special effects make up for film and TV.

Our workshop prices start at £80 for a 2 hour talk/demonstration with costs structured around the amount of students for a 'hands on' session. This normally works out between £4 - £8 per student depending on the materials used during the session. the scars and wounds workshop is our most popular with adults and students alike.

  • Scars and wounds - (2-3 hour) hands on demonstration of application, blending, colouring and removal of silicone and gelatine prosthetics.

  • Body casting workshop - (2-3 hours) How to safely cast and mould body parts using alginate, modroc plaster bandages and fine casting plaster.

  • Sculpt and mould - (3 hours) Learn how to sculpt a wound in clay before moulding it and casting your own prosthetic piece.

  • Casting and application - (2-3 hours) Learn how to cast a prosthetic piece before applying and colouring it.

  • Talks - (1-2 hours) - We talk about the creation of prosthetics and props for film and TV, which includes an application demonstration.

  • Please note that workshops outside of the East Midlands will incur additional travel costs.

The students who attended the workshop commented on how much fun the session was, calling it the ‘best yet’. With reviews like these, this is a workshop we’ll be looking to run again in future! Confetti College
